August 4, 2025 | Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum

We are excited to share that Willowbank faculty and students will be participating in the upcoming Past is Present Heritage Festival on Monday, August 4, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, held at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum.

This community festival celebrates traditional crafts, local history, and Canada’s rich cultural heritage. As part of the event, our faculty and students will be on site offering live demonstrations of traditional heritage paint techniques—a hands-on expression of the skills and knowledge passed on through Willowbank’s world-renowned heritage conservation program.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with the Willowbank team, learn more about the school’s approach to heritage education, and see firsthand the importance of preserving traditional craft knowledge in contemporary practice.

Whether you're a long-time supporter, alumnus, or simply curious about our work, we warmly welcome you to stop by. We’d love to see some familiar faces—past and present!
