Niagara College and Willowbank launch virtual reality collaboration

Former faculty member and recent appointee to the Board, Conor MacNeill, is already making an impact and working with Willowbank staff, board and students - along with Niagara College students of the 3D animation program that he teaches - to create a virtual reality of Willowbank and its various cultural landscapes. This project is in its early research stages, and Tuesday June 10, 2025, was spent at the Willowbank David Murray library with Board Director and archivist emeritus, Elizabeth Oliver-Malone. Elizabeth shared her impressive knowledge of the history of the people who have lived at Willowbank since its construction in 1834 with Conor, a Niagara College student who is passionate about gaming and history, and Katie Houghton (Executive Director).
