We’re thrilled to once again participate in the province-wide Doors Open initiative, organized by Ontario Heritage Trust. On Saturday, October 18, from 12–5 PM, step inside the House with Two Faces and explore the rich history of our National Historic Site which is home to Canada's leading School of heritage conservation: the School of Restoration Arts.

Discover Canada’s School of Restoration Arts
Willowbank has been training the next generation of heritage conservation professionals for almost 20 years. Our site is a living laboratory where academic study meets hands-on learning in traditional heritage trades and conservation practices.
Free Admission — Donations Welcome
Entry is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. This year, we are fundraising to support projects that sustain our mission, including:
Site conservation – did you know it costs $127k per annum just to maintain this National Historic Site?
Adaptive reuse of estate to expand School – We're fundraising for a third-floor fire exit so we can expand our teaching spaces and teach our students on the magnificent third-floor which is currently inaccessible.
Student scholarships and bursaries – With no government funding for our students, your support helps ease their financial burden.
Attract expert faculty – More than 50 leading practitioners from across the world teach at Willowbank, passing on their knowledge so that heritage conservation lives on.
Meet Our Community
Join us for an afternoon of history, stories, and heritage. Meet our students, staff, and, if you’re lucky, Hannah Jarvis Hamilton may even make an appearance! Come and see how we’re keeping heritage skills alive, and learn how you can help support the next generation of conservation leaders, so that heritage lives and thrives.
