Candice Bogdanski
Candice is a Heritage Planner, Architectural Historian, and Educator based in the Niagara Region. She holds an Honour's B.A. from Brock University (History/Art History), a Master's Degree from the University of Toronto (Art History), and is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D., specializing in architectural history, from York University (Art History & Visual Culture). Currently, Candice is the Senior Heritage Planner for the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. As an architectural historian, Candice not only specializes in the styles of buildings prevalent in Southern Ontario, but also finds meaning in the spaces in-between - the landscape, streetscape, cityscape, and intangible heritage that advocates for conservation in the context of the past, present, and future. In 2024, Candice joined the Faculty of Willowbank School of Restoration Arts to assist with course development for the new curriculum, and looks forward to working with Willowbank's students.
