Julia Hodgson

WILLOWBANK STUDENT AND EX-OFFICIO DIRECTOR

Julia Hodgson is currently in her third and final year at Willowbank School of Restoration Arts, where she serves as the Student Representative on the Willowbank Board of Directors. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Health Studies and a Diploma in Disability Studies from Queen’s University. Her academic background in health and disability studies, combined with hands-on experience at Willowbank and, more recently, at the King's Foundation Summer School, inspired her to found Redesigned Living—a residential design service focused on craftsmanship, sustainability, and a deep respect for history.
Julia believes that understanding the past is essential for managing change effectively in the future. In her role as Student Representative, she is dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue between students and the Board, ensuring that the perspectives and experiences of current students are heard and valued in key decision-making processes.
