Jen Lipski is a Canadian Artist and Blacksmith who uses wood and steel to create rustic designs inspired by animals, nature, and human history. Her unique body of work ranges from expressively detailed wildlife portraits carved in wood to sculpted natural designs crafted from hand-forged steel. Although she began her career as a more traditional wildlife painter, she discovered her passion for working with natural materials while studying Art at OCAD University. Expanding her work beyond the canvas to incorporate techniques such as pyrography, carving, staining, blacksmithing, and delicately painted metal patinas, she now creates and exhibits her original artwork and teaches classes from her studio-gallery in rural Niagara
